Computer Games

 

Do you want to do more than just play? Would you like to learn how computer games work? Would you like to know the algorithms behind the brilliant graphics? Do you want to develop your own games or work in the computer games industry?

 

The "Computer Games" specific track within the bachelor's course teaches you how games are developed. You can also exchange ideas with like-minded people at the university 'Acagamics e.V.' club and find out more about industry and research in the computer games sector.

 

As well as the mandatory courses in the informatics degree, you also complete the following four courses: Introduction to Computer Games, Introduction to Computer Graphics, Introduction to Simulation, Algorithmic Geometry. In addition, you select another four lectures from a wide range of suitable courses. You can also select seminars, projects and work placements relating to computer games as part of your course.
